GEODBONE SELECTED FOR THE CHILEMASS EMPRENDE PROGRAM, INTERNATIONALIZATION STAGE.
During the month of January, the 57 selected participants in the ChileMass Emprende Program were announced. This program is led by Corfo and the Chile Massachusetts Alliance, with the objective of supporting the internationalization of high-potential national technological ventures, with the innovation ecosystem of Boston, Massachusetts, one of the most powerful in the world.
INDUSTRY EXPERTS MEET WITH RESEARCHERS BEFORE GLOBAL UC 2019
In order to present the two winning technologies of Global UC 2019 before a committee of experts, the Transfer Office has met with industry experts to share their comments with the research teams before to their trip to Boston.
GEODBONE is a spin-off as a result of the Research and Development of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC).
Bone loss decreases the functionality and well- being of the body, in addition to not being able to perform implants successfully. Current solutions for bone filling do not always provide a good result.
We created a biocompatible, biodegradable and biologically active material, manufactured with rapid prototyping in 3D printing, with a very specific geodesic shape, and with a microporous surface.
A multidisciplinary team, made up by young and senior researchers, focused on developing and innovating with new therapies and solutions, from the laboratory to the clinic.
